Swimerz Skirted Trolling lures are big on high speed performance for turning tuna & other predator species, and are good for all positions in the lure spread. They are fitted with a soft silicon skirt and weigh approximately 95gm, with and overall length of approx. 30cm. The resin head has an inner lead core, is 3.2cm in diameter with a 3.9cm head length, and is fitted with life like 3D eyes. The leader hole has a diameter of 3mm.
A great all species, all tackle, all weather trolling lure that is basic to use. It features a cupped face and a double-taper profile which produces a strong head shake and a thick bubble trail. The lure is rigged with a 1.36mm diameter, 250lb breaking strain, crimped monofilament leader, 170cm long, and terminating in a single size 8/0 Ultra Sharp hook.
Most saltwater fishermen like to troll at speeds between 2 and 9 knots. To set the lure at depth while at speed, Swimerz Torpedo Trolling sinkers can be added to the rig, in front of the leader.
